Class Descriptions:

18-36 Creative Movement Class, 1/2 hour, have one dance in the recital. 

3-6 Combo Classes 1/2 hour of tap and 1/2 of ballet—2 dances in the recital.

7 and up 1/2 each of tap, ballet and jazz—3 dances in the recital.

Mini Company—1/2 hour of tap, ballet and jazz—Competitive

Jr Company 1/2 hour of tap, ballet and jazz—Competitive

Intermediate Company and Senior Company 1 hour of each principle and 1/2 hour of Pointe– Competitive

Black Leotard—All Classes (to use in performances in county)

Pink Ballet Tights—All Ballet Classes (Ballet Pink is a color, not just any pink will work)

Pink Ballet Shoes– All Ballet Classes and Creative Movement Classes (leather ballet shoes)  The elastic string on the front of the shoe is for function.  Pull tight and tie in a knot, then tuck the remaining elastic inside the shoe. 

Black Tap Shoes-All Tap Classes 3-9 (these have a flat heel and one tie)  Please use elastic ties in taps shoes instead of ties.  This will make it easier for the child to change shoes without help.

Black Jazz Shoes-All Jazz Classes 7-9

 

 

You can wear any color leotard and tights to class, the above is for performances.  We can order tights for you at a lower cost than dance wear stores. 

Leotards can be found at Wal-Mart and Target.  Shoes can be found a Payless Shoe Store.  If you choose to go with a Dance Wear store, we recommend Centre Stage on the Square in Marietta.

 

We will wear ballet pink tights and pinks leather ballet shoes with all ballet costumes, no matter what the color.  We do this because ballet pink is a neutral color in the stage light and is classic ballet attire.
