Nutcracker Auditions

September 18

Age  6 – 8                  9:00 – 9:30

Age  9 – 12                9:30 – 10:15 am

Age 13 and Up                10:15 – 11:00 am

A black leotard and pink tights with your hair in a bun is the appropriate dress for the Nutcracker auditions.  Ballet shoes are needed and pointe if you plan on trying out for a pointe number in the production.  Please come in take a number, sign in and put your number beside your name.  We will have parts posted on the website by the following Monday.

Parents are welcome to dance in the party scene as a parent.  The waltz  is done during the party.

Fall Festivals

If you are involved at your child’s elementary school and would like to book us for the fall festival, please contact Michelle.  We need a contact from each school.

Tuition

Please remember that tuition is due the first of every month, a late fee of $25 will be added after the 10^th.

There is a $35 fee for returned checks.  We do accept credit and debit cards.

Dance Wear

Donate your used shoes and leotards to the Paulding Ballet Company and buy donated shoes and accessories for $5.

Hints

If your dancer wears the black Tyette tap shoes, here is a great way to keep them on their feet.  Take out the ribbon that comes with the tap shoes and replace it with black elastic sewn in.  The shoe can be slipped on and off by your child.  If you want to keep a bun in place a .89 hairnet from Wal-Mart works best.

Drinks

We have a refrigerator in the lobby of the dance school.  We will have water  for the children to purchase

Referral Program

Refer a friend to the Dallas School of Dance and receive one month’s tuition free!

To receive your free month the new student must attend a minimum of 6 consecutive months.

Have your referral come in and register and make sure they give us your name.  When they have paid for their sixth month of dance you will get the next month’s tuition for one class.

Program Book

We will be selling ads for the Nutcracker and the Recital.  Ads can be business or personal.  If you want an example, they are on display in the lobby.  This is the program that we normally print for the recital, but in order to give our dancers and sponsoring businesses more exposure, it will be handed out at both shows.
